David Gandy, Jodie Kidd and Darcey Bussell all celebrated The Cartier ‘Style et Luxe’ 20th appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on the 24-26th June.
The event, situated on the Catier Lawn adjacent to the Goodwood House the concours has become renowned for its celebration of fine automotive design, and the display assembled at Goodwood this year was no exception.
As part of its overall theme, ‘Flat-Out and Fearless – Racing on the Edge’, exquisite classic cars across seven classes were on display. Cartier Style et Luxe is to showcase an eclectic selection of cars, from supercars of the 1960s and 70s to Bugattis. All are united by a dedication to style, form as well as function.

The Cartier Style et Luxe event focuses on design excellence rather than on restored condition, for this reason that the competition is decided not by expert car judges, but rather by personalities from the creative industries, as their many and varied sympathies focus on such abstract concepts as proportion, texture, shape and detailing.
